Human Academy Japanese Language School conducted a training session on "Easy Japanese" for the faculty and staff of Waseda Shorthand Medical and Welfare College, an educational corporation of Kawaguchi Gakuen.

This training had the following two objectives:

1. To convey the school's attractions and information in easy-to-understand Japanese to international students participating in the open campus
The aim was for faculty and staff to effectively convey the appeal of the school by giving easy-to-understand explanations to international students.

2. To encourage students to feel comfortable studying at our school through interaction between international students and faculty and staff.
We shared ways to communicate in simple Japanese to ease the anxieties of international students and help them feel at ease in their school life.

The training began with an explanation of what "easy Japanese" is, using concrete examples. After that, a lecture was given on how to achieve "easy Japanese," including important points and techniques to keep in mind. Finally, the participants honed their practical skills through group work.

We will continue to strive to further improve our training in order to meet the diverse needs of the educational field.
